Family and Early Life
Noren was born on 12th July 1982 in Stockholm Sweden. He developed an interest in golf at a very young age and started playing at the age of four at the Haninge Golf Club. Noren joined Oklahoma State University after graduating from high school.
Regarding his personal life, he is married to Jeniffer Kovac and they are blessed with a daughter named Iris Noren.
Career
Noren started playing golf as a junior and at the age of 14, he won The Unofficial Swedish Youth Championship, Foreningsbanken Cup. He attended the Swedish Upper Secondary Sports School where he studied for his secondary school while at the same time training for golf. In 2002, he led his team to win the European Youth’s Team Championship at the G&CC, Poland. He was also part of the Sweden Team who was the bronze medalist at the 2004 Eisenhower Trophy in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico.
Noren turned professional in 2005 and earned a place on the Challenge Tour after reaching the finals at the European Tour Qualifying School. He attained his first professional victory as a rookie at the Rolex Trophy and made it to third place on the Challenge Tour Rankings earning himself an elite European Tour title in 2007.
His first victory on the European Tour came in September 2009 at the Omega European Masters. This was followed by a second win was at the Saab Wales Open at the Celtic Manor Resort. This earned him a place at the WGC Bridgestone Invitational at Firestone Country Club.
He had his fourth title in 2016 at the Nedbank Golf Challenge earning about $1.1million. This was the biggest win of his career so far. He won the BMW PGA Championship on the European Tour and qualified him for the 2017-2018 season PGA Tour card. Noren won the HNA Open de France on the European Tour in July 2018.
