He started with ‘Shoes with A Better Tomorrow’ which was quite profitable but soon bought by Clear Channel. But this was not his only venture instead he had multiple of them. Soon, he was recognized as one of the most remarkable and young entrepreneurs. This is because he got inspired by a volunteer organization that provided shoes for children in need. It swayed him enough to create a ‘One on One’ business model which donated a new pair of shoes to the ones who can’t afford it for every new pair sold.

After his injuries, Mycoskie left SMU and started his first business, EZ laundry. The concept of EZ laundry was born on the SMU campus, where there was no on-campus dry cleaning service.
