Johnathan Michael Porter popularly known as Blueface is an American rapper and Singer. He became famous from his song Respect my Cryppin which showed his offbeat rapping style and he became a viral meme on Twitter. As of 2021, Blueface has a net worth of $4 million.
Family and Early Life
Blueface was born on 20th January 1997 in Los Angeles, California. He grew up in Mid-City in Los Angeles. Blueface attended several elementary schools and later moved in with his mother in Santa Clarita Valley before settling down with his father in Oakland.
He attended Arlete High School where he joined the marching band playing alto saxophone and also took part in the school’s football team. He proceeded to Fayetteville State University where played in the college football team.
Blueface was in a relationship with two women before recently breaking up with one and has been in a relationship with his current girlfriend whom they have a son named Javaughn.
Blueface developed an interest in rapping at a young age. He loved listening to celebrity rappers including Snoop Dogg, The Game and 50 Cent. Johnathan started rapping under the name Blueface Bleedem in January 2017. He released his first song Deadlocs which was produced by Laudiani and uploaded onto SoundCloud.
lueface later produced Famous Cryp which became so famous in California. His second EP Two Coccy was released to SoundCloud and Spotify in September 2018.
His music video Respect my Crypn was released on WorldstarHipHop’s YouTube channel in October 2018. The song was shared on Twitter and it captured many turning into a viral meme. From this, his music started to receive worldwide attention. His next songs Thotiana and Next Big Thing earned him great popularity.

Thotiana became his first track to chart on the Billboard Chart at number 75 on the Billboard Hot 100 in January 2019. He released the song as a remix with YG in a music video. He also released a remix with Cardi B and also released a video with Cole Bennett. These remixes were released separately and another remix was released where they were all put together.
Blueface released a music video for his song Stop Cappin in May 2019 and it received over 5 million views on YouTube within the first four days. He has released his first album Find the Beat and his list of tracks in March 2020 after the album was delayed due to trademark issues.
