Snedeker was born on December 8th, 1980 in Nashville, Tennessee in the United States. His parents are Larry and Candice Snedeker. He has a brother named Haymes Snedeker. He has been married to Mandy Snedeker since 2008 and they are blessed with two children named Lily and Austin.
His brother also plays golf and has won The Big Break X: Michigan. Snekeder introduced to the game by his grandmother who worked at a golf course in West Plains Missouri. Career
Snekeder won the U.S Amateur Public Links in 2003 and later turned professional in 2004. He started his career by playing the Nationwide Tour between 2004 and 2006. He won the Showdown at Somerby and the Permian Basin Charity Golf Classic. This led him to secure a place at the PGA Tour for the 2007 season.
On his first event at the Buick Invitational, Snekeder shot a course record equal to 61 on the first round finishing in third place. He played on the Stanford St. Jude Championship in June 2007 and tied at the fifth. Later in July, he finished in a tie at 7th place at the Canadian Open. Two weeks later he played on the PGA Championship Tour for the first time and tied at 18th place.
His first PGA Tour win came at the Wyndham Championship in North Carolina. The win placed him at 55th place on the world ranking. He was named the 2007 Rookie of the Year. He Received his third PGA Tour win in 2012 at the Farmers Insurance Open and later won the 2012 FedEx Cup and the $10 million prize came after he won the Tour Championship.
In 2018, Snekeder became the 10th player in the history of the PGA Tour to post a sub-60 round in a competition. He made it by shooting 59 in the first round of the Wyndham Championship.
