Family and Early Life
Jason was born on 12th April 1977, in Palo Alto, California. His family is of Jewish descent. His great-great-grandfather Jacob Stern moved to Hollywood in 1889. He has a twin brother called Brett Oppenheim.
He attended Mission San Jose High School in Fremont, California. He received his undergraduate and J.D degrees from the University of California, Berkeley. Jason dated Mary Fitzgerald for four years and later broke up with her. During their relationship, they adopted dogs together and they still share in their custody. They remain good friends.
