Jeff Kinney Early Life
Kinney was born and raised in the Maryland town of Fort Washington. Kinney attended Potomac Landing Elementary School before graduating from Bishop McNamara High School in 1989. He has an older and younger brother, as well as an older and younger sister. In the early 1990s, he attended the University of Maryland, College Park. Kinney created the famous comic strip Igdoof in college, which appeared in the school newspaper, The Diamondback.
