John Robert Hill Jr. was born on August 3, 1996, in Jacksonville, Florida to parents Simona Ariel and John Robert Hill Sr. His nickname “Boonk” was given to him by his mother. John has 14 siblings in his family. He was raised by his mother and her husband Dirk Marshall Williams Jr.
Before coming into a rapping scene, Boonk worked briefly at a Popeye’s Chicken restaurant. He then started using social media sites and at the same time started writing his own rap.
