Patrick Cantlay’s Early life
Patrick Cantlay was born in Long Beach, California on March 17, 1992. Patrick is one of Steve Cantlay’s four children with his partner, Colleen Cantlay. His father is a former club champion at Long Beach’s Virginia Country Club. He has two brothers, Nick and Jack, as well as a sister named Caroline. His sister and brother, Nick, are both golfers who are both in their early stages of their careers.
He attended Servite Secondary School, where as a senior he earned the California State Secondary School Title. Cantlay won four tournaments in his first year at UCLA and was awarded the Haskins Grant as the most outstanding high school golfer in 2011. Cantlay also received the Phil Mickelson Award as the GCAA Public Rookie of the Year, in addition to being named Pac-10 Player of the Year and Green Bean of the Year.

Cantlay shot a final-round 64 to win his second PGA Tour championship, coming from four strokes behind 54-hole leader Martin Kaymer.
