Shelley Santel is his younger sister. In fourth grade, he and his family relocated to St. Peters, Missouri, where they currently live. He attended Duchesne High School in St. Charles, Missouri, where he played football and men’s volleyball for four years. As a Boy Scout in high school, he achieved the highest title of Eagle Scout. Randy then relocated to Springfield, Missouri, where he attended Missouri State University. He was an offensive lineman for the MSU Bears for three years and got a degree in Construction Management.
