Sabbatini was born on 2nd April 1976 in Durban South Africa. He is of mixed ethnicity. His parents have Scottish, Italian, and Irish Ancestry. He developed an interest in golf at a very young age and started playing the game at the age of 4 years. He, however, started serious training at the age of 12.
Regarding his private life, he is married to his wife Martina since 2011 and they are blessed with two children Harley Aiden and Tylie Jo. He also has two Dachshunds named Chloe and Zoe. Career
Sabbatini turned professional in 1998 after graduating from the University of Arizona. He joined the PGA Tour in 1999 and was the youngest member of the PGA Tour in that year. Rory had five PGA Tour wins between 2000 and 2005 he was placed 12th on the money list at the end of 2006. He reached the top 10 on the Official World Ranking for the first time in September 2007. He spent 20 weeks in the top-ten position between 2007 and 2008. Rory emerged the winner at the Par 3 Contest at the 2008 Masters Tournament.
Sabbatini played five times in the world cup representing his country South Africa in 2003. His first appearance on the President’s cup happened in 2007 and he had a 0-3-1 record. The International team was defeated by the United States team in that year. His fifth PGA Tour title win came in 2009 by winning the HP Byron Nelson Championship with two strokes over Brian Davis.
