Stephanie Abrams Early Life & Education
Stephanie Abrams attended the University of Florida in Gainesville after graduating from Space Camp, where she earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in geography with a minor in mathematics. She received honors and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa. She was a Delta Phi Epsilon sorority member who served as Chapter President.
Abrams obtained a B.S. in meteorology from Florida State University (FSU) in Tallahassee, where she graduated with honors. Abrams, like other meteorology students at Florida State, practiced on-air forecasts on FSU Live, a student-run news and weather production on a Tallahassee cable channel. She worked as a teaching assistant at FSU, where she taught a meteorology class. “I think the professors made a difference because they were so engaged with the kids, and also because there were small classes there, so it was really nice that the class hung out together, and it was nice to have that kind of environment,” she said of FSU.
