Suzette was born on June 29, 1967, in Lake Jackson, Texas to Abraham Quintanilla Jr. She was raised alongside A.B. Quintanilla III and Selena Quintanilla.
Suzette along with her sister Selena and her brother and father formed a successful band called “Los Dinos”. She was a drummer of the band but decided to end her career after her sister was murdered. Offstage, she was a best friend and confidant to her sister.
On March 31, 1995, her sister Selena aka “Queen of Tejano Music” was murdered by Yolanda Saldivar, the manager of her fan club. After her sister’s tragic murder at the age of 23, she decided to quit playing music. However, she has been involved in the Selena universe.
