Tony Finau was born on 14th September 1989 in Salt Lake City Utah. His father Kelepi Finau and his mother Ravena Finau had seven children including Tony. His father was an immigrant from Tonga. He is married to Alayna Finau and they have four children together.

Molonai Hola, a Salt City Lake businessman, filed a $16 million lawsuit against Tony Finau in September 2020. Tony Finau, his brother Gipper, his father Gary, his manager Chris Armstrong, and Wasserman Media Group were all named in the action.
For example, according to his claim, their first meeting was in 2006, and Hola initially assisted them financially.
According to the lawsuit, Hola supported the family with Finau’s golf-related expenses.
Hola had spent almost $600,000 on Finau’s golf bills, and their agreement required them to pay Hola 20% (20%) of Tony’s and Gipper’s earnings throughout their careers.
