Family and Early Life
Wendy was born on 21st May 1984 in Nigeria. She spent her elementary years in Nigeria before moving to the US and becoming neutralized. Wendy was brought up by a single mother. She saw her mother go through various hardships as she struggled to bring her up. She attributes her hard work and success to her mother.
Wendy completed her Bachelor of Arts in political science from Temple University and proceeded to earn her Masters in Government from John Hopkins University. She also has a Master’s in public affairs with a concentration in community development from Rutgers University-Camden and Ph.D.in public affairs and community development from the same institution.
Wendy is married to Edward Osefo and together they have three children. They live in Maryland.
